Technology
Energy is naturally inherent in water. Sustainable H2O’s technology safely controls and harnesses that energy as heat – a lot of heat – in effect having the liquid feedstock flash-fry itself. The practical effect is less need for external energy, with no chemicals or membranes needed for the process, and no added carbon footprint. This technology is compact, tailor designable as to physical footprint, can be mobile or stationary, and yields a true circle of sustainability.
Plus, our yield is clean steam. Steam is many things to different folks. The steam can be redirected to multiple offsetting customer process uses. A condenser can be used to bring back purified water, a steam engine to bring back steam as energy, and a pre-heater for the incoming feedstock to increase operational efficiencies, even further benefiting your ‘bottom line’.
- Add a condenser and we will have clean water back. Make it potable, fill your toilets, water your campus, wash your bottles and fleets, and / or put that water right back into your process (we have a 99% liquid separation efficiency – this is true water recyclability).
- If disposal issues are your hassle, safely releasing to atmosphere could be your solution (imagine environmentally sensitive fracking).
- Add a steam engine and let’s recoup some energy.
- Or keep the steam. Your steam boilers need soft water to operate; we can take your wastewater, and return boiler HP; you can eliminate a boiler or two (plus all the associated boiler-room headaches).
Regardless of your steam use, our tech requires a small fraction of your current “best practices” physical space. This technology is compact, tailor designable as to physical footprint, and can be mobile if needed.

DESALINATION
We desalinated 50,000 mg/L seawater. Note that the Atlantic and Pacific average is about 35,000 mg/L. These results speak for themselves.
Lab testing performed by Pace Analytical Labs. ND is Non-Detected; data provided is in milligrams per liter.
Detection Level Min. | Feedstock | Condensate | Reduction / Increase | |

A nationally recognized desalination consultant said the following:
“The quality you are producing is higher than normally produced by seawater (reverse osmosis or “RO”). To get to the levels you are achieving, you would be looking at dual-pass RO at a minimum but more like dual-pass RO, followed by EDI [electrodeionization] (typically used to produce high quality water for industrial/semiconductor type application).”
Water Treatment
We have pilot tested our technology for several of the world’s largest companies in their respective industries. For example, a global spirits company sent us tanker after tanker of post-distilled pre-treatment stillage, and a global home products manufacturer sent us tote after tote of multiple effluents. Our results were similar across all tests, including 99% liquid separation; 79% BOD reduction; and an outright elimination of up to 40% of solids from the original feed. Again no membranes, no chemicals, no added carbon footprint, and a customizable small physical footprint.
We treat water exceptionally well.
